We had a successful Captain’s Fleet Auction on February 27th with more than 55 members in attendance. Thanks to Bob (“Hot Stuff”) Burns, Bob (“The Vroooom”) Vroman, and Joe (“The Enforcer”) Anzalone for assisting the sometimes off-course auctioneer!
Betty Barter and Cea Horton did a great job of tracking the high finances, and the Club will be able to increase its level of support to the three Marco service organizations next year. Everyone participated in the bidding; the winners of the Prop Award for the most purchased was the team of Dan & Barbara La Croix with close seconds by the Kuhns and Bayleys.
