On Friday, March 19th, twenty-four first mates arrived at Cea Horton's house with salad and dessert creations and a beautifully wrapped item that they no longer wanted.  Some of the many salad creations were quinoa, chicken, couscous, green and white, wild rice, pear arugula, potato, mandarin orange, and fruit.  The desserts were scrumptious and Cea's home baked bread was delicious. 
After lunch, the white elephant exchange began with much laughter and lots of swapping of gifts.  The 'porno' bird made its way around the circle so many times that it is hard to remember whose house it will land in.  Perhaps we will see it again next year at another white elephant exchange.
