Tuesday evening, March 1st, found 117 MBYC members at the Marco Island Yacht Club to give a rousing welcome to our new members.  Cocktails and fruit, cheese and crackers were savored  as members mingled with the new folk before sitting down for dinner.  The buffet line moved quickly and dinner and dessert were enjoyed by all.
After dinner, Commodore Brent Cook introduced the 19 new 2010-2011 members in attendance:  Bob Boland, Ann & John Brock, Mary & Mike Doshan, Kerry & Jim Heckenlaible, Janice & Chuck Hubscher, Karen & Dave Metzler, Carole & Steve Roberts, Judy & Larry Sacher, Charmaine & Brad Smith and Marjorie Tessier & Bob White.  New members Patti & Larry Bruski were not able to make it.
We want to thank all of our MBYC attendees for their timely responses for this enjoyable event.
The large attendance at all of our functions, while presenting a challenge to find venues large enough, proves again that we are, indeed, the “FUN CLUB”.  Again, new members, WELCOME to the FUN CLUB!
