CHANGE OF WATCH/COMMODORE'S BALL 2009

The Marco Bay Yacht Club celebrated their Thirty-fifth annual Change of Watch/Commodore's Ball Saturday, January 24, 2009. The elegant Hideaway Beach Club hosted I 18 members and guests, starting with hot hors d'oeuvres, a five-star main course, and once again, a spectacular dessert, which no one left on their plate.

Congratulations to Commodore Bob Vroman, the Bridge Officers, Directors, and Chairpersons for making this past year wonderful, busy, and exciting for all of the MBYC members. You all put in many hours of hard work and the members thank you.

Our new Commodore, Joe Doggett, along with the Bridge Officers, Directors, and Chairpersons, sent a special message to all MBYC members to work at bringing in new members, so our club will continue to grow and prosper. I know you all are looking forward to supporting your new Commodore and Bridge.

Once again, with the women in their glitter and gowns, the men in their club uniforms and tuxedos. Dan Voss entertained us all by playing and singing for more than four hours, keeping everyone dancing the evening away.

Thank you for making this Ball such a success.
