FIRST MATES BOWLING PARTY By Phyllis Ostrow

Twenty-four First Mates gathered at 9:00am at Bowland Woodside in Naples for a bowling event. The morning started with a great breakfast, followed by three hilarious, fun-filled bowling games. Some of the gals had never bowled, some haven’t bowled for over thirty years, and there were a few that still bowl now and then. Eight prizes were awarded for the following categories: most strikes, most gutter balls, lowest score, hitting the barrier bar the most, greatest bowling form, the cutest awkward bowling form, the most improved, and, of course, the highest score. Judging by the conversations and laughter, everyone had a great time. I am sure the following day was a Bengay day.
