BURNT STORE MARINA GOLF OUTING

Twelve boats were scheduled to leave Thursday morning for Burnt Store Marina, but due to high seas and strong winds, only three boats were able to make the voyage on Friday morning.  Ten cars drove up Thursday morning.

 

Thursday evening we had 22 folks for our cocktail

and heavy hors d’oeuvres party, which was held in

Friday, 15 golfers played a scramble on the Burnt Store golf course along with alligators and large turtles.  The first place team was Joe Tiger Anzalone, Betty Barter, Owen Henning and June Zinn.  Fun prizes went to Jack Barter, Juanita Henning, Bill Horton, Paul Meyer, Randy Southard, Shirley Southard and Bud Zinn.  Closest to the pin for women was Sigrid Hubley and Roger Hubley for men.  Longest putt winners were Jacquie Hansen and Joe Doggett.  Everyone seemed to enjoy their prizes (judged by the laughter.)
