2009 EDISON FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS CRUISE
After many years of trying, we have finally gained accommodations for the festival at the Legacy Harbor Marina. This world-class marina offers more amenities than any yachtsman could ever hope for: boaters’ lounge, pool, hotel, restaurant, laundry, pump-out station and much, much more. Dockage is $1.80 per foot (our club still has one slip available….call Dave Besuden for a slip reservation). Room rates range from $109 to $209 (double suite). They fill VERY fast, so call 239-332-2048 or 239-461-0772 soon. A few are available at the time of this writing. Club Agenda: 1. Thursday, February 19: Cruise from Marco Island to Legacy Harbor Marina, Fort Myers. Lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack. Afternoon free time. Evening brings MBYC famous dockside potluck party. 2. Friday, February 20th: “Arts and Crafts on The River” (opens at 10 am). Afternoon free time. Evening will be spent at the Palm Dinner Theater for dinner and the musical comedy “All Shook Up” ($49/person). We still have six openings available. 3. Saturday, February 20th: Visit S.W. Florida’s largest flee market, then spend some free time in the afternoon. Evening brings a fine buffet dinner by the renowned Leroy Selmons Restaurant proceeded by nationally acclaimed entertainment and followed by the famous Zambelli Fireworks Display. The grand finale is the Edison Festival of Lights Grand Parade with beautiful floats, marching bands and hilarious clowns. What a fun night!...and we will enjoy all this while seated comfortably at the white clothed tables…all for only $50/person. JOIN US FOR THIS VERY SPECIAL CRUISE!!!!!!!!!
